Service Description: The NMFlood interactive website distributes maps, data, and related flood information for Los Alamos County, NM. This application is developed by the Earth Data Analysis Center, University of New Mexico (EDAC/UNM) in collaboration with the New Mexico Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (NMDHSEM) and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Cooperating Technical Partners Program to provide geospatial support to New Mexico communities that are at risk for flooding. As a Cooperating Technical Partner, EDAC leads the New Mexico Discovery Process to identify areas of mitigation interest, and local flood studies.
